Education

Every year many nurses from all over the world would like to practice as registered nurses in the United States. If you are one of them, the U.S. Links International could help you work toward to your goal.

The school, which you will attend, is a three-step process.

STEP 1.

The first six months will be dedicated to prepare you for the TOEFL examination. TOEFL, The Test of English as Foreign Language is to evaluate the English language proficiency of people whose native language is not English. The exam measures listening comprehension structure and written statement and reading comprehension. A score of 540 or higher must be achieved on the test to meet the requirements.

This course is offered by so many institutes in most of the cities of the world. We will help you find this institute near you. Or we can provide you with all the course material or can offer you this course on the internet. This course will be rigorous and you will have to study hard. We will not give up on you.

We will work hard with each student to insure your passing the TOEFL.

STEP 2.

The TOEFL exam behind you, we are now ready to take you to the next level. For the next 4 months we will enroll you in the CGFNS course, The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools. CGFNS is designed specifically for general nurses educated out side the United States who wish to be registered nurses in the United States. The test has only one purpose to determine, if it is safe for you to begin practice as a nurse in The United States. CGFNS is a test of minimum competency and is based on the knowledge and behaviors that are for the practice of nursing. This exam tests not only your knowledge but also your ability to make competent nursing judgments. You should not find this too difficult to pass. We will be dedicated to your passing the CGFNS and will continue the rigorous training.

STEP 3.

Now that you have passed both the TOEFL and the CGFNS exams, we will immediately start processing your papers for Immigrant Visa Green Card, but we will talk about that on the next page. Now we go to the 3rd step of education. For the next 2 months we will be teaching with American Nurse Teachers preparation for the NCLEX exam. This exam can only be taken after you arrive in the US.

NOTE: There will be a limited number of nurses, which we will accept for the education courses.
